Dan Ștefan
Co-founder of Autonom, Non-Executive Board Member, Management Professor
Dan Ștefan is an entrepreneur who’s passionate about developing people and building sustainable, learning-focused organizations.
After studying management in Bucharest, Orléans, and at the Sorbonne, he worked as a management consultant at a consulting firm in Paris, where he implemented efficiency programs for major global industrial groups.
Since 2006, he has chosen the path of entrepreneurship: together with his brother, he founded and leads the Autonom Group, the leading mobility provider in Romania.
Autonom is one of the most highly awarded Romanian entrepreneurial companies, being recognized as Best Employer for five consecutive years in the global study conducted by Aon Hewitt.
He serves as an independent board member for several organizations, including companies, business associations, and NGOs.
Dan is also a strategy professor in the Romanian-Canadian MBA program at Bucharest Business School, since 2014.
He believes in inclusive management, based on autonomy and shared values.
